The food is big and bold of flavour, whether in entrees such as a gorgonzola pannacotta with pear chutney or a turkey-liver parfait with seared plums and fortified jelly. Don’t miss out on the rosette of raw kingfish popping with wasabi flying fish roe. Desserts are a high point: the passionfruit soufflé is exemplary.
The wine list is mainly current vintages; for something older, call ahead and order from the cellar."
